The Tails of Leo the Labrador...
Working with a local children's book author on an exciting series of stories, I got to bring the lovable character that Leo is, to life.
Visually telling these stories through Leo's lens was a dream project to be part of.

An idea of character starts taking shape from a rough sketch, developing and refining even the smallest details.
Each work of art follows a creative evolution that's organic and unique.

Painting...
These works are drawn using Procreate software, an Apple Pencil and iPad Pro. Drawing and painting digitally enables me to use organic and realistic brushes, paints and canvas textures, translating into a tangible art pieces.
Watercolour…
This series of watercolour painting stages below demonstrates how delicately placed pigments and brushstrokes can convey a feeling and moment in time. Using composition, light and reflection to capture the energy and movement of this beautiful spaniel in a split second.
This watercolour painting on canvas was a labour of love that took around 12 hours from start to finish.

There's nothing more beautiful than the human form...
For me as an artist, the essence of life drawing is the connection between the observer and the subject. That critical connection is responsible for the energy and detail captured in the final piece.
Cartoons, Mascots & Line Drawing...
Stylised art often involves simplifying and refining, using thoughtful lines and mark-making to add emotion and personality.
This diverse style can be used for a wide spectrum of projects, from children's illustrations through to graphic novels.
Graphic Art...
These art pieces are slightly different from other digital pieces, are hand drawn using shapes and vectors with an Apple pencil, iPad Pro & created in Adobe Illustrator. .
,To create these portraits I use a limited colour palette focusing on colour, form and contrast brings something fun, energetic, vibrant and eye-catching.
